Jonas Lossl is back with Midtjylland

The Denmark international has departed Everton and rejoined Midtjylland.

Jonas Lossl

moved to

Everton

in 2019’s summer transfer window, but failed to make his way through a first-team game in

Carlo Ancelotti

’s squad and was transferred to

Huddersfield Town

on a loan deal for the remainder of the last season.

He is now back in his homeland and has reunited with his first club

Midtjylland

where he made his first debut in 2010.

The 32-year-old has also featured for Guingamp and Mainz, he said: “

It is huge to be back at FC Midtjylland. There are so many people at the club – both among players, coaches and managers – who mean a huge amount to me, so it makes really good sense for me to come home.

“I am a much more mature goalkeeper who has become rich in experience. I would really like to pass that on. I have played with a lot of talented players in some good leagues, but I also feel like I have my best goalkeeping years ahead of me yet.”
