Gomez on his time with Atalanta ahead of Sevilla move
Despite his struggles with the team, Gomez admitted that he has no regrets from his time with Atalanta.
revealed that he is proud of his time with
Atalantadespite not being on good terms with the team’s head-coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, as he was heading to board the plane to
Sevilla. The former Nerazzurri captain said:
“I would do everything I did from the first day in Bergamo.”
“We made history with this club. Sometime things happen, but now the club is at the top in Europe.”

“I’m sad but also happy. They are strange feelings.”

ahead of his departure, Gomez continued:
“I have already talked to them and they know what I think. My feelings and how much I love everyone.”
When asked whether his love extended to
Gasperini
as well, he responded:
“Sure, sure.”
