Christian Walton can't wait for his Premier League debut

Goalkeeper, Walton has rejoined Brighton to fill Ryan's position after seven loans.

Matt Ryan

has joined

Arsenal

till the end of the season and

Brighton

surely needed a goalkeeper.

Christian Walton

has returned to the club after 7 seasons of being loaned out and he is targeting his Premier League debut. Walton made his debut for Brighton in October 2014 and played 3 Championship matches that season.

He played for seagulls during the 2-1 victory over Blackpool in the fourth round of the FA Cup. “

I was saying to my family it’s something like over 2000 days since I last pulled on a Brighton shirt – it’s quite strange really,”

said Walton, whose previous Albion outing was a goalless draw with Middlesbrough in May 2015.

“Seven loans later and I am back in a Brighton shirt, it’s a great feeling.

“My main aim is to play in the Premier League and compete with the other two goalkeepers at the club – the competition in the group is very healthy.”
