Allardyce pleased with victory in the derby against Wolves

Sam Allardyce led his side to a first West Brom win in the derby battle against Wolves.

match win this season, giving the squad hope for survival.

Fabio Silva and Willy Boly met the back of the net for

Wolves

, taking the lead in the half-time. However, Pereira’s penalty got them back into the game, pushing for an equalizer. Semi Ajayi went on to pull the game level through Pereira’s header from spot-kick.

Above the relegation zone, Brighton moved up Burnley following their 1-0 victory over Leeds, while Burnley were defeated with the same result by West Ham. Neal Maupay’s winner broke Brighton’s nine winless runs. West Ham, on the other hand, took the lead with help of Michail Antonio.
