Maclaren scores late winner in City’s comeback against Western United
The striker once again proved himself as Western United’s nightmare a he sealed the derby win for Melbourne City.
Maclaren’s goal was his fifth goal in eight matches against United and helped
Melbourne Citykeep their perfect record against their neighbors.
Ivan Vujica’s 22nd-minute goal put United ahead but
Craig Noonemanaged to score the equalizer only 10 minutes later. However, the tie was finally settled with

was asked about the match and his team’s performance in a post-match interview.
"The fact that we have a lot of young players that came on in our team - it showed a lot of character,"
Kisnorbo said.
"Because probably before maybe last week or today, they may have only played NPL.
"But the fact that they stepped up in an A-League game under difficult circumstances, in a derby game, the credit's all to them."

blamed himself for not making substitutions in the second half as his players seemed exhausted toward the end of the match.
"We started to tire. I blame myself, I should have been a bit more proactive,
"My gut told me to make some changes at that time, I didn't do it and got punished for it."
