Dortmund Schulz and Brandt free to leave

Borussia Dortmund is set to part ways with Nico Schulz and Julian Brandt in the January transfer window.

According to reports carried by Bild,

Dortmund

ready to sell

Nico Schulz

, who is yet to make an impact since joining them from Hoffenheim.

Julian Brandt

has struggled for more minutes this season, having started only six Bundesliga matches, so he will be sent out on loan to find the chance to play.

But Dortmund are hopeful the 24-year-old will eventually find his place at the club and therefore they do not intend to sell him.

Brandt has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, but Michael Zorc, Dortmund sporting director, says there has not been any negotiation between the two clubs.
