Juventus set to sign former striker

Juventus are set to reach out to a former striker to bolster their attack.

Tuttosport has claimed that

Juventus

intend to sign Napoli striker Fernando Llorente in the winter transfer window.

Llorente is currently playing for Napoli and since he has made almost no appearances for the club this season, it is likely that his free transfer will be agreed to ease his salary. Tuttosport have confirmed that Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo and several players, including Alvaro Morata, will welcome the return of the Spanish striker. He played for Juventus from 2013 to 2015 and fits in perfectly with the team's style of play.

The 35-year-old striker has played 19 minutes this season, returning to a game against Torino, which Napoli missed by Driss Mertens and Victor Osimhan. He joined Napoli from Tottenham Hotspur in 2019 as a free agent and earns an annual salary of € 2.5 million.
