Percy Tau probably go back to Brighton- Anderlecht's Kompany confirmed

Recently, various reports emerging from Belgium have expressed Percy Tau could stop his loan spell at Anderlecht and go back to Brighton and Hove Albion in January

The 26-year-old joined the

Seagulls

in 2018, however, he was unable to play for the Premier League side since he couldn't acquire a work license in the country. In this way, he was conveyed borrowed in the last three summer windows.

Lately, the FA,

Premier League

, and EFL affirmed new principles for marking non-native players will become effective from January first, and this would make it simpler for Brighton to bring in Tau to their squad.

A proviso in the contract between the two clubs will permit Brighton to call back the South Africa international in January, and Graham Potter affirmed on Wednesday his team are attempting to give that clause a shot.

Anderlecht manager

Vincent Kompany

has now conceded there is a chance of Tau's loan stay being stopped in the winter transfer market.

“There is a good chance that Percy Tau will leave in January. I am very happy with what he brought us. We know his qualities and his intelligence of play,”

 Kompany said.

“He has a very good attitude and it is normal that Brighton wants to bring him back. Until further notice he is of course still a player for Anderlecht.”
