John Hughes as the new Ross County manager

Ross County hired John Hughes for the club’s management.

After

Stuart Kettlewell

was fired courtesy of the Staggies’ 2-0 loss over

Hamilton

. The 56-year-old new manager has a load of experience preceding him working at Falkirk, Hibernian, Livingston, Inverness, and Raith. He will continue using the current staff as he aims for mounting the Scottish Premiership.

The news of him joining the club read: “Ross County FC can today announce the appointment of John Hughes as the club’s new manager. John is a well-distinguished and well-known figure within the game and has very valuable experience in the Scottish Premiership.”

Ross County

are sitting south of the table, four points above the relegation zone due to the winless run they have been having. Since September, the Staggies have been going through a dry spell gaining only two points in 10 competitions. On Wednesday,

John Hughes

will lead the team against

Celtic

for the first time.
