Quique Setien is considering suing Barcelona for a breach of contract

Setien was sacked by the Catalan giants following their humiliation by Bayern Munich in August. He was in charge for just 8 months despite a two-year contract.

As reported by Marca, the former

Real Betis

coach could now push for legal action over a loss of earnings. He is rumored to be unsatisfied with the amount of compensation offered by the club to settle his contract termination.

His former coaching staff have already agreed with a compensation package with the La Liga side, but the club failed to reach an agreement on a compensation package with their former coach, hence, Setien looks to resolve in court in 2021.

Last week,

Barcelona

confirmed they have reached an agreement with their players and staff to cut €122m off their payrolls.
