According to

Bild

, Dortmund’s chairmen, Michael Zorc and Sebastian Kehl have already generated a four-man shortlist as

Haaland is widely expected to depart the club next summer

with a host of top clubs, including Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich all linked with a move for the striker.

90min

reports that one of the candidates is Chelsea’s

Timo Werner

, who failed to live up to expectations since joining Chelsea last summer.

Meanwhile, the most expensive of the four candidates will be Inter’s

Lautaro Martinez

 while Borussia Monchengladbach's

Marcus Thuram

 and Torino striker

Andrea Belotti

 are also among Dortmund’s shortlist.

Werner spent last season at Stamford Bridge

, scoring 12 goals in 55 games for the team. The 25-year-old striker failed to live up to expectations and was widely criticized. Now with Romelu Lukaku at Chelsea, he will have a difficult time playing in the first team.

Meanwhile,

Inter reached an agreement with Lautaro Martinez

over a contract renewal, making his departure harder.

Thuram

has worked with BVB boss Marco Rose before, but his best league season in terms of goals stands at just 10 while

Belotti

would have no problems adapting to Rose's pressing game while he's been a regular and consistent goalscorer in Serie A for the past five years.
