Manchester United: In Search of a New Coach

Manchester United’s management has taken formal steps toward reaching an agreement with a new head coach. The goal is to dismiss Dutch coach Erik ten Hag and strengthen the team with the necessary technical expertise.

Despite United’s victory in the English FA Cup last Saturday, Ten Hag’s fate remains uncertain due to the disastrous results the team achieved throughout the season, which negatively impacted their performance.

According to the British newspaper “Telegraph,” the club has engaged in discussions with representatives of Danish coach Thomas Frank and Argentine Mauricio Pochettino. The purpose is to explore available options for the club following Ten Hag’s dismissal.

This move is part of the management’s strategy to enhance the team and regain its position among the top clubs, especially after finishing in their worst-ever position in the Premier League (eighth).

The newspaper indicates that the club intends to meticulously evaluate Ten Hag’s performance during the season, regardless of the positive outcome at Wembley Stadium. This evaluation will assess his actual impact on the team.

Currently, Frank coaches Brentford, while Pochettino remains without a job after his unexpected dismissal from Chelsea a few days ago. This increases the likelihood of Pochettino moving to Manchester United if Ten Hag’s final dismissal occurs .
