Saka claims the Gunners were extra motivated to win after City’s draw with Everton

Arsenal superstar Bukayo Saka says City draw “gave Arsenal extra motivation” to win and widen the gap at the top.

The Gunners have truly become unstoppable as they claim their 14th win of the season against Brighton.

Bukayo Saka

was once again on the scoresheet as the young winger put Arsenal up after only 66 seconds. The 21-year-old has now come out and said that City’s misfortune against Everton “

gave Arsenal extra motivation

” to win this match.

"We just try and focus on ourselves but when we heard that result it gave us extra motivation to try and press on and get a result today,"

said Saka to the BBC after the game.

Despite lacking a traditional striker like Erling Haaland,

Arsenal

’s front 4 players have all been carrying the weight when it comes to goalscoring. Saka himself has 6 goals and 6 assists in the league. With Gabriel Jesus out for at least the next two months, many wonder if Arsenal can maintain their terrific form.

The Gunners have yet another tough fixture coming up as they face Newcastle at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.
