Juventus considering replacements for Sandro

As per reports from Tuttosport, Juventus are considering Benfica’s Alejandro Grimaldo and Raphael Guerreiro from Borussia Dortmund in order to replace Alex Sandro in January.

The Brazilian left-back’s contract is due to reach its end in 2023 and Juventus do not want to offer him an extension deal after he failed to live up to the expectations in the last few seasons, with his performances not justifying his earning at the club.

As per reports from

Tuttosport

, the Bianconeri are eager to pen a contract with a new left-back in January and they are considering Alejandro Grimaldo and Raphael Guerreiro. Both of these two players’ deals are due to expire in June, so the Serie A side are trying to reach an agreement with them before starting negotiations with the clubs in the next transfer window, getting them to agree to a low price.

Benfica have the chance to eliminate Bianconeri from the group stage of the Champions League and the Portugal international’s move to the Allianz Stadium seems unlikely should Juventus drop to Europa League. If that happens, Bianconeri might try to seal a contract for June. Max Allegri also wants to recruit in defence and the club is keeping tabs on Evan Ndicka as his deal is also expiring.
