from Santos last year in a deal worth around €1.5m. The Brazilian footballer who plays as a striker made 11 appearances for Juventus last season but a serious injury in February sidelined him for a long time.

Jorge is expected to be ready for action before the World Cup and Juventus wants to send him away to the right club in Serie A on a loan deal in January.

The Serie B side Cagliari also reportedly remains interested in Jorge and will attempt to sign him on loan once the winter transfer session starts.

The Brazilian side Flamengo is interested in signing him but the Bianconeri prefers he stays in Italy.

Jorge was handed his first-team debut at 16 in 2018. He scored 17 goals in 84 matches for Santos during his time in Brazil. Jorge was Santos's top scorer in the Copa Libertadores in 2020 with five goals in 12 games.

The 20-year-old forward won the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2019 with Brazil. He also scored five goals in the competition and was awarded the Bronze Boot award.
