Why Brazil Can Win The World Cup 2022

Ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, many football fans are trying to work out which teams will go well and be in with a chance of winning the tournament. And the name of the nation on everyone’s lips right now appears to be Brazil, and you could say for good reason.

One of the first reasons people use as a way to gauge how well a team will do is how high up on the betting list they are. And, if you want to place bets on the World Cup favourite, you’re going to be placing them on Brazil,

which says a lot.

Brazil head to Qatar as the bookie's favourite

, and if the sports betting operators believe it, then it does mean there may be some sense in everyone else believing it can happen too.

Brazil often go into tournaments heavily fancied, and it could be based on their history, as they are five times World Cup winners.

While they may not have tasted success since 2002 in Japan and South Korea and have only made it as far as the quarters since there is an aura surrounding the Brazilian national team, and they’re arguably the nation that knows how to win on the biggest stages.

Of course, history isn’t going to help too much in the here and now, but a talented World Cup squad can and undoubtedly will, and Brazil have one. From back to front, Brazil will take a star-studded squad to Qatar with them,

one that features the likes of Alisson, Marquinhos, Bruno Guimaraes, Vinicius Junior and

Neymar

. On their day, there is no doubt that this is a team that will compete with and can beat anyone and everyone, and that’s not even up for debate.

It's all well and good having a great squad, but you’re going to need a manager who can get the best out of them.

Tite will head to the

World Cup 2022 in Qatar

as the man in the dugout for Brazil, and he’s been in post since June 2016. In that time, he’s put together a stunning record, with fifty-six wins, thirteen draws and just five defeats in seventy-four games.

And, what’s even more impressive is that Brazil scored one hundred and sixty-two goals in that period and conceded just twenty-nine. Tite has proven already that he’s got Brazil playing well, but now it's a case of how well.

And finally, we mentioned him earlier, but you need a player who can make the difference, change games, and often carry his team, and for Brazil, that player is Neymar.

He's undoubtedly one of the best players on the planet and continues to post ridiculous numbers in terms of goals and assists at club level.

And, with seventy-four goals and fifty-three assists in one hundred and nineteen games, he could be the difference maker and the World Cup winner, which wouldn’t be a surprise at all.
