Pickford after PotM Liverpool performance: "We keep building now"

The Everton goalkeeper was named man of the match for making 8 saves during the Reds' frustration at Goodison Park with the match ending as a goalless draw. Pickford denied chances from Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, and Firmino to keep one point for his side against their rivals.

driving bar to the crossbar, before Luis Diaz hit the crossbar again in the rebound.

Liverpool

had lots of chances denied by Jordan Pickford as he displayed a master performance against the Reds, denying an excellent finish from

Mohamed Salah

in the stoppage time leading the ball to hit the crossbar again. Everton had a goal ruled out by VAR as the Reds academy graduate

Conor Coady

tapped in Neal Maupay’s cross-shot. He went wild in front of Goodison Park before his goal was ruled out for offside.

Man of the Match,

Jordan Pickford

told his post-match interview:

"Very unfortunate [to have a] goal disallowed, you can see it was very tight.

"I think we're just building, we've got that character now as a team and that team spirit, it's pushing us on. We haven't got a win on the board yet, but we've been hard to beat."
