Having reached a 4-year agreement with Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Torreira, the yellow-reds added Dries Mertens to their squad for one year. The two players will arrive in Istanbul on the same plane this evening.
Galatasaray also signed with Dries Mertens after Torreira. Erden Timur, who has been in talks with the yellow-red people for a long time, reached an agreement with the 35-year-old football player. If Galatasaray gets a Champions League ticket next season, the option will be activated in Mertens' contract and his contract will be extended for one year.
