Francisco Trincao to depart Barcelona any time now

Francisco Trincao might be close to reaching the end of his spell at Barcelona two years after making a move on a deal worth.

As per reports from

Note

,

Francisco Trincao

is said to be returning to Brazil, with a move to

Sporting CP

being rooted.

The contract with add €10m to the

Barcelona

coffers in exchange for 50% of his rights. In other words, should they sell the player in the future, Barcelona will also benefit. Sporting may also choose to buy the remainder of his rights, whereas the Blaugrana will keep a buyback clause for the ex-Wolves player as well.

It appears as though the Catalans will make an €11m loss on Trincao. Although they welcome the money since they are reforming the team, it typifies the policy for transfer under last President Josep Maria Bartomeu. When Trincao was purchased, his fee was over his market value and his integration into the first team was not well thought out.
