Tottenham has talked to Roma about the possibility of signing Nicolo Zaniolo.

Spurs are looking for big additions to their team now that they are in the Champions League.

Antonio Conte

has already promised to stay with the club, and owners ENIC have already spent £150 million on team operations this summer. Ivan Perisic,

Fraser Forster

, and Yves Bissouma have also already joined the team.

wants to add more depth to their forward line, and

has heard that they are interested in Gabriel Jesus,

, and Raphinha from Brazil, as well as Raheem Sterling.

The club met with Roma earlier this week to talk about Zaniolo, who can play on the right-wing, as a number ten, or even as a striker. Spurs like the Italy international a lot, and a deal for him would probably be cheaper than for most of their other forward targets.

Even though Zaniolo will only be 23 at the start of July, he has already torn his ACL twice in his short career. He missed the whole 2020/21 season, but he played in 42 games for Roma last season and scored eight goals, including the game-winner in the Europa League final against Feyenoord in May. Tottenham has also offered Roma players as part of a deal, with Wales's Joe Rodon being the most talked about. He signed with Spurs in October 2020, when Jose Mourinho was still in charge of the Giallorossi.

Since he moved to North London from Swansea, Rodon has only played 24 times for Spurs in all competitions. Conte has said that maybe he should have used the center-back more often during his time in charge.

Also, Tottenham and Middlesbrough are still talking about Djed Spence, and 90min has heard that there is still hope that a deal will be made for the wing-back soon.
