Neymar's private jet has to make emergency landing, but he is unharmed

After his private jet had to make an emergency landing in northern Brazil, Neymar is safe and well.

. He was supposed to land in Sao Paulo. The plane had already stopped in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Barbados, but it had to make an emergency landing in the city of

Boa Vista



's agency said in a statement that he had been on the Cessna 680 Citation and that the pilot had taken precautions when he ran into trouble in the middle of the flight.

"Because of a small problem with the windshield wiper of the NR Sports plane, which Neymar Jr., his sister Rafaella Santos, and Bruna Biancardi were on, the pilot decided to land early in Boa Vista, Roraima, on Tuesday, November 21, so that the problem could be fixed.

"We'd like to say that everyone on board is fine and ready for the trip to continue."

Neymar was playing in the World Series of Poker after winning a qualifying tournament for PokerStars six years ago. He is an ambassador for PokerStars. He couldn't play in the main event the following month because he had to be with Brazil at the 2016 Olympics. He was also knocked out of the 74-player showdown on the first day.
