Arsenal want to take one step back in their interest in the Leicester City midfielder as they move closer to sealing their other pursuits.

Arsenal

are no longer pursuing

Youri Tielemans

as they are keen on acquiring

Gabriel Jesus

.

The

Leicester City

midfielder has been one of the main targets of the club in the transfer window and was going to make the move for a fee of £25 million.

However, according to

Goal

, the Gunners are cooling their interest in the 25-year-old while focusing on finishing other deals in the summer, as well as one for Jesus.

Tielemans’ deal is due to expire in one year at Leicester and the Gunners have been negotiating with his agents before the summer transfer window.

The Belgian has revealed that he is willing to make a move away from the club in the summer if he is given a good opportunity.

Arsenal are still firmly keen on Gabriel Jesus and Raphinha.

Negotiations with Manchester City over Jesus are at a main stage and all parties are still holding hopes that they can reach an agreement for the striker, who is valued at around £50m.

According to reports from Goal, Jesus’ agents are going to England to push for a deal.

Arsenal are also eager to bring Leeds winger Raphinha to the club and think they can push for a deal for the winger, if Barcelona do not start their interest in him again.

The Gunners have strengthened their midfield this summer, with the arrival of Porto star Fabio Vieira.

The 22-year-old came to London on Friday to have his medical done and complete his move.

Arsenal want to announce his arrival in the next 48 hours.
