The Juve boss made a joke about the France star potential comeback to the Bianconeri: ‘He won’t be back because he is afraid of challenging me…’

Paulo Pogba

is negotiating with

Juventus

over a return to the

Serie A

side. Juventus have made a€7.5m-a-year offer to the midfielder, hoping to convince him to return to Juve, while

PSG

are able to offer him a higher wage.

Following his latest interview with DAZN, conducted by Andrea Barzagli,

Massimiliano Allegri

made a joke about his return.

“He won’t be back, he is afraid of challenging me,”

he said, laughing.

The Italian boss talked about a famous basketball shooting challenge that went around on social media years ago when the Frenchman was featuring for Juventus.

Pogba had also done the same for Allegri in which the manager emerged as the winner.

“He lost playing with foot and hands. That’s why he left. That’s the real reason why he left,”

the coach added.

Pogba played for the Bianconeri for four years and went to Manchester United in 2016 on a deal worth €100m move to Old Trafford.
