Man Utd owner, Avram Glazer backs new manager Erik ten Hag
Manchester United's new manager is the Dutchman Erik ten Hag, and the team's owner, Avram Glazer, thinks he will do "a great job."

is good for Manchester United. United's new manager is Ten Hag. He will take over for interim manager Ralf Rangnick.
On Sunday, United's last Premier League game of the season, they lost to Crystal Palace, and the former Ajax coach was there. On Monday, he started his new job. Since Alex Ferguson's last season in 2012-13, United has not won the title. However, under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, they came in second place in the 2020-21 season.
Fans are angry about this, and this season there have been a lot of protests against the Glazers' ownership. Sky News asked Glazer about Ten Hag on Monday at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Glazer said Ten Hag was the right choice and that money has "always" been spent to improve the team, even though fans have been critical.
Glazer said, "That's why we hired him; we know he'll do a great job." When asked if money would be available for Ten Hag before the next season, he said, "We've always spent the money we needed to buy new players."
United had a terrible season, finishing sixth with 58 points, their lowest total ever in the Premier League. Glazer said, "It was a disappointing season for everyone, and we're going to work hard to make next season better."
