Barcelona W 1-3 Lyon W: Les Fenottes clinch record eighth Women's UCL

Lyon won the Women's Champions League for a record-setting eighth time after beating Barcelona 3-1 in Turin. This ended Barcelona's reign as champions.

Four minutes before halftime, Alexia Putellas scored his 11th Champions League goal of the season. This gave Barcelona a crucial lifeline and gave the Catalans new hope that they could come back and win the trophy.

Things could have gone very differently if Barca midfielder Patri Guijarro's daring shot from the halfway line had gone in instead of hitting the crossbar early in the second half.
