"It seems like the passion isn't really there anymore. We reached a point where something needs to change. That's where we are right now.
"It was not something I enjoyed. Mainz did it well. They had many chances and deserved to win. They had good energy and we did not have it."
Bayern is twelve points above Dortmund and will host Stuttgart next weekend.
