Adidas suspends relationship with Russia after Ukraine invasion
The latest to have reacted to the incident taking place between Ukraine and Russia is the Sportwear company.
Adidas
is the latest brand which had suspended their relationship with Russia as they invaded Ukraine and they cut ties with the Russian Football Union (RFS).
Many have condemned and sanctioned the country politically, economically and in sporting.
Adidas is the next company to have followed suit and suspended their relationship with the governing body of Russia.
The list is only expected to grow due to the current crisis as Russia is suspended from the international football after their initial outcry to continue under a new identity.
Moreover, Russian teams were removed from European competition as
Spartak Moscowwas kicked out of the
Europa Leagueby UEFA’s decision.
