The Blues beat Tottenham at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea ended Conte’s unbeaten record at Tottenham Spurs.

Chelsea

ended

Tottenham’s

unbeaten record since

Antonio Conte’s

arrival in a game that ended with a 2-0 victory for the Blues at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League with

Hakim Ziyech

and

Thiago Silva’s

goals.

Thomas Tuchel’s

victory made the Blues the first team to gain 500 points in a London derby in the Premier League history.

Tottenham’s last away victory against Chelsea was in 2018 when their clash against the Blues at Stamford Bridge ended in a 3-0 victory for Spurs and now in their most recent clash Hakim Ziyech opened the scoring for the home side with a beautiful finish in the 47th minute of the match, but it could have been the match’s second goal if

Harry Kane’s

goal hadn’t been disallowed for the English international’s foul on Thiago Silva.

Conte’s men didn’t show enough determination throughout the game, but the Blues, who were dominating their opposition during the entire match, didn’t seem satisfied with only one goal and kept pressing Spurs to their own goal, until the 55th minute of the game when Thiago Silva scored the second goal for the home side with a header forcing a 2-0 defeat to the visitors who were trying to keep their unbeaten run since Conte’s arrival.
