Dest agent: He is happy at Barca, it’s quite unlikely for him to leave

thus far this season, despite minor injury difficulties. The American is an attacking full-back who continues to struggle defensively but lacks the boldness required to play higher up the field. 

That has bothered Xavi, and with the arrival of the seasoned

Dani Alves

and the likely recovery of

Sergi Roberto

from injury in about six weeks, Dest has been linked with a move elsewhere. 

Barcelona might benefit from greater payroll space, and Dest could charge a fee in the region of €30 million. However, according to the full-agent, back's Michael Reschke, a transfer is unlikely during this window.

"Sergino is happy at Barcelona," he told Ran via 

 when asked about a possible transfer. "It's a big club. It's because of that, it's quite unlikely at this moment."

Dest has been with with the Catalans since his €21 million transfer from Ajax in 2020, and he has an agreement with the club until 2025.
