Algeria announced 28-men squad for Africa Cup of Nation

has announced its full list for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Algerian coach Jamel Belmadi finally released a list of 28 players today, all of whom will be in

and will play for Algeria.

The defending champions are in Group E and will have to play Ivory Coast, Guinea and Sierra Leone to advance to the group stage. Their first game will be against Sierra Leone, which has competed for the first time since 1996. Belmadi decided to use 9 players who were in the Arab Cup, including Baghdad Bounedjah, Yacine Brahimi, Youcef Belaili and Sofiane Bendebka.

Other important players in the team include Riyad Mahrez, Said Benrahma, Ismael Bennacer, Soufiane Feghouli and Adam Ounas.
