Romagnoli returns to training before Fiorentina clash

The Rossoneri centre-back is back in training with the other players before the clash against Fiorentina this weekend.

Milan

are sitting first in the

Serie A

table but they have struggled with a lot of injury setbacks at the beginning of the season.

Alessio Romagnoli

was not expected to be back in time for the battle against

Fiorentina

and is still in doubt, but

Stefano Pioli

is given good news about the captain.

The captain has featured in 11 matches across all competitions in the 2020-21 season but he has not been playing in the last few games with a muscle tear.

However, the 26-year-old has been trying to get better after his adductor problem and has returned to training with the other players.

As per reports from

Calciomercato.com

, Pioli may have him at his disposal for the Saturday’s game as the Diavolo want to extend their unbeaten run in the Italian top-flight.

The Rossoneri are leading the table with Napoli after 12 matches with the Partenopei going to San Siro to face Inter on Sunday.
