Pioli on the verge of signing a new deal with Milan

The Rossoneri are keen on putting pen to paper with Stefano Pioli for a new contract and the club CEO Ivan Gazidis is going to meet with the manager to reach an agreement on details.

Stefano Pioli

has been getting so many questions regarding his future with

Milan

as the ex-Inter manager helped the Rossoneri get to the top of Italian football.

The Rossoneri were having a hard time competing before Pioli’s arrival, but they have since seen a steady rise following the initial improvement under the ex-

Lazio

coach’s reign.

The 56-year-old tactician’s side are leading the Serie A table with

Napoli

and are enjoying an unbeaten run domestically with 32 points gained from 12 matches.

He received the Lega Serie A Coach of the Month award in October and Milan are eager to sign a new deal with him, with his current deal due to reach its end in June 2022; however, the extension seems imminent.

According to reports, the only things missing are formalities before Rossoneri pronounce the veteran’s new contract.
