Rabiot to miss France’s Nations League Final with positive Covid-19

The Bianconeri midfielder’s test has turned out positive and he is not going to feature for France in their Nations League final against Spain on Sunday.

Adrien Rabiot

started for France in the clash against Belgium which came down to a 3-2 victory for the Les Bleus. Yannick Carrasco and Romelu Lukaku scored for Belgium but

Karim Benzema

and

Kylian Mbappe

leveled the game, with

Theo Hernandez

netting the late winner for France.

However, the Juventus midfielder will not make an appearance for his side in Sunday’s showdown and is self-isolating now.

Didier Deschamps

took his unavailability as a blow as he is already without Lucas Digne, who is suffering a hamstring injury, and N’Golo Kante due to positive Covid-19.

France cannot name replacements for the players and are going to face Spain with a 21-man squad.
