Romagnoli: “We did not start well, but we reacted”

Milan’s captain Romagnoli thinks his side had a good reaction to their bad start.

Milan’s

captain

Alessio Romagnoli

has talked about his side’s performance in their 1-1 draw against

Juventus

without many of their stars insisting that they had a bad start, but they managed to react to their poor start.

“We did not start well, but we reacted and put in a good performance. Now we move onto the next match,”

Romagnoli told DAZN

.

The Rossoneri had another bad start last week against Liverpool in the Champions League when they were two goals behind, but they managed to level that game which ended in a 3-2 defeat for the Italian side and Romagnoli says that they understand the situation, but they also should know the value of their work when they come back in the games.

“We know that we could’ve done better at Anfield, especially when we went a goal up. We had another comeback today and did well to get the game on track.”

Although it was one of the rare appearances for the Rossoneri captain Romagnoli, now he is going to get more playing time with

Kjaer’s

injury.

“As I’ve always said, I try to give my best. The coach makes his decisions, all I can do is try to make it difficult for him to pick the starting XI.

“This is certainly one of the best Milan squads since I’ve been here, but we need to remain concentrated, there’s a long way to go.”
