Kean not pressured to replace Ronaldo at Juventus

The Bianconeri have signed with Moise Kean after Cristiano Ronald’s leave, and he was playing for PSG on a loan deal last season.

Moise Kean

revealed that

Juventus

are not putting pressure on him for replacing

Cristiano Ronaldo

after he came back to Turin.

The Portugal international, who met the back of the net 101 times in 134 games for the Serie A side, joined

Manchester United

in the summer transfer window.

Following the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s departure, Juve acquired Kean’s services on a loan deal from Everton, but the deal includes an obligation to buy if some objectives are met.

The Italy international played for

Paris Saint-Germain

on a loan deal last season, where he met the target 13 times in 26 matches.

Notwithstanding coming at a time when Ronaldo moved away, the 21-year-old insisted that he aims to achieve success under the reign of Massimiliano Allegri and does not care who he has replaced.

"I don’t feel any pressure in replacing Ronaldo,”

he said at Thursday's news conference.

"I just want to lend a hand to the team where I grew up and where I lived good times.

"I just want to play, I have no pressure, I just feel the responsibility of wearing the Juventus shirt."

Kean had his debut for Juventus when he was 16 and became their youngest ever player. He met the back of the net 16 times before making a move to Everton, where he only found the target twice in 32 games.

"

Wearing the black and white jersey has always given me great emotions,"

he continued.

"It is the right choice, I am ready for this new challenge. I'm lucky to have played in foreign championships.

"I'm here to give a big hand to the team I grew up in. I don't feel its weight, but the responsibility of wearing this shirt and giving 100 per cent.

"We didn't start well but we have great objectives. I'm sure we will aim for great results."
