Elliott absolve Pascal Struijk from any blame

Although Liverpool's Harvey Elliott suffered a serious injury during the match against Leeds after clashing with Pascal Struijk, he does not seem to blame the centre-back in any way.

Struijk was subsequently suspended for three games and Leeds' request for his pardon was rejected. Elliott wrote in a comment on the news that Leeds' request was rejected:

"Sorry about this Pascal! I think it's wrong! But it'll soon be over brother and you'll be back in no timer smashing it again. Keep positive."

After medical tests on the 22-year-old, Liverpool explained that it is not clear how long he would be out of action, but he could return to the pitch before the end of the season.
