Sun 12 September 2021 | 16:53

The Egyptian star was able to reach this milestone today by shining against Leeds United.

Liverpool

star Mohamed Salah has become the latest player to join the 100-goal club in the Premier League.

The Egyptian star, who continues to make history with the Reds, was able to score in the first minutes of his team's match against Leeds today, three digits his number of goals in the Premier League.

He has now been added to the list of Premier League legends who have managed to score 100 goals or more. He scored his 99th goal against Chelsea before the international break. But it took only 20 minutes of today's game for Salah to score his 100th goal.

The interesting thing about Salah's record is the number of games he has played to reach 100 goals. He has reached the milestone in 162 games and only Newcastle and Blackburn legend Alan Shearer, Tottenham star Harry Kane, former Manchester City star Sergio Aguero and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry have managed to score 100 goals in fewer games than Salah.

He also became the 30th player to reach this number. Other active Premier League players who have managed to score 100 goals include Romulo Lukaku and Jamie Vardy.
