I am not here for a vacation - Cristiano Ronaldo
Over the past week, all sports headlines have been dominated by the news of Cristiano Ronaldo returning to Manchester United. Many believe that he can not be as effective for his team as in the past, but it seems that the 36-year-old man has a different opinion.
In an interview with United's official website, Ronaldo said that his return to Manchester is not for vacation.
"
I am not here for a vacation,"
Cristiano said.
"As I told you, before was good, winning important things and I wore the shirt before many years ago, but I am here to win again.
"I am capable, me and my team-mates. I am ready to go. It is a good chance for me, for the supporters, for the club, to get one step ahead.
"I am ready and I think I will be a huge thing in the next three or four years."
Ronaldo is on United's list for Saturday's game against Newcastle. Newcastle are the only club against which Ronaldo scored a hat-trick in his first spell in Manchester.
