Fabrizio Romano: Manchester United will loan Amad Diallo to Feyenoord

Amad Diallo has only made eight appearances for Manchester United since his move from La Dea in January and is expected to make a loan move before the deadline.

However, to get more playtime,

the Red Devils’ boss Solskjaer confirmed on Saturday

that the 19-year-old, who has not been used in any of United’s Premier League matches so far this season, will leave the club on a loan deal this summer.

Now according to the renowned journalist,

Fabrizio Romano

, the Ivorian is on the verge of completing a loan move to the Eredivisie side,

Feyenoord

Man Utd

have accepted the Dutch side’s proposal, which is a loan deal until June 2022.

The Red Devils signed the winger for £37m

last January from Atalanta but he failed to impress under

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

and made only eight appearances in all competitions over the second half of the season.

With Jadon Sancho and Jesse Lingard’s arrival, the 19-year-old has been given the green light to leave

Manchester United

on loan this season to gain more experience under his belt.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

said on the potential loan move for Diallo yesterday:

"Yes I do [expect him to go out on loan].

"It’s not 100 per cent signed but we’ve agreed. I don’t have to say which team it is yet [smiles], but we’ve found a place that Amad feels excited about and we feel excited about."

Manchester United

will be back in action when

they face Wolverhampton Wanderers

before an international break on Sunday.
