Sevilla eyeing move for Ozan Kabak

The Schalke star is among the Andalusians’ main transfer targets this summer.

Ozan Kabak

spent the second half of the last season on loan at Liverpool while

Schalke

were relegated to Bundesliga 2. The Turkey international featured in 9 Premier League matches for the Reds, but the English giants decided against offering him a permanent deal. Kabak has been heavily linked with a move away from the Royal Blues ahead of the next season.

According to

Mundo Deportivo

, Sevilla are interested in signing Kabak this summer. Following the transfer of

Sergi Gomez

to Espanyol, Julen Lopetegui’s side are keen to bolster their backline in the current transfer window.

Sevilla might also see

Jules Kounde

leave the club this summer, which would further limit Lopetegui’s defensive options. On the other hand, Schalke need to offload players to balance their wage bill ahead of their upcoming Bundesliga 2 campaign. The German side are reportedly open to selling Kabak for a fee of around €25m this summer.
