The Aston Villa manager is pleased to have Leon Bailey, who made a move to the club on a contract that will keep him until 2025.
During the end of July, the Villa pronounced that they were in talks with Leverkusen and the player is now undergoing his medical and reaching personal agreements with the club for a contract that will run until 2025.
The 23-year-old met the back of the net 15 times and contributed 10 assists for the Bundesliga side during 40 matches last season.
The Jamaica international is now Villa’s second big-money signing before the start of the 2021-22 season, with the first one being Emiliano Buendia from Norwich City.

Villa will go against Sevilla in a pre-season friendly clash on Saturday before going against Watford on August 14.
