Inter to make an official offer for Martinez's replacement, Raspadori
As been reported before, Inter are strongly in Sassuolo’s 21-year-old Italian forward, Giacomo Raspadori, and now according to major outlets, the Nerazzurri are preparing an offer to sign him in 2022.
According to
La Gazzetta dello Sport,
Raspadori
is one of
Inter’s
major targets for strengthening their attacking department despite the confirmation of
Lautaro Martinez’s
stay with the club for a further season.
According to the outlet, the Nerazzurri are already working to bring Raspadori to the Stadio Meazza in June 2022.
Lautaro Martinez’s
contract expires in 2023 as he has been strongly linked with a move to
Barcelona
. However,
Inter
are in talks to extend his stay at the club.
Having already sold Achraf Hakimi to PSG for €70m, Inter are not planning to sell the striker in the current transfer window.
However, if the negotiations with the Argentine fail, Inter will reportedly sell the striker at the end of 2021-22, and Sassoulo’s striker,
Raspadori
, is the main candidate to replace him from next season.
