Manchester City to play Leicester City on August 7

As a tradition of the FA Community Shield, last season’s winners of the Premier League and FA Cup will play each other at Wembley Stadium.

According to

Sky Sports

, the Premier League champions, Manchester City, will try to win silverware for the seventh time in a clash with the Foxes at Wembley, seven days before they begin the defence of their Premier League title.

Although the percentage of available attendance is yet to be advised, the game will kick off at 5 pm on Saturday, August 7.

2 points clear of second-placed Manchester United, City overcame a poor start to the season to win the Premier League dominantly.

On the other end, Leicester knocked out Manchester United in the FA Cup last eight before going on to beat Chelsea in the final, making history by winning the first FA Cup of their history while finishing fifth in the Premier League table.

With Euro 2020 set to end on July 11, Several players from both clubs will be on international duty over the summer.
