Pirlo says that "Ronaldo out against Atalanta"

Juventus coach, Andrea Pirlo announced that Cristiano Ronaldo is out of action for tomorrow’s clash against Atalanta.

The showdown kicks off on Sunday at 13.00 GMT.

“We have an important absentee,”

Pirlo

mentioned at his press conference.

“Cristiano will not be taking part in the game due to a problem with his flexor. It would be too risky for us to bring him to Bergamo.

“We hope he can recover for Wednesday.”

After Atalanta,

Juve

have a midweek match with near-relegation Parma.

“Cristiano’s issue arose after the last game. He wasn’t able to ‘push’ the way he wanted to in training this week and we prefer not to risk it. The internationals didn't help, he's been playing a lot lately.

“Dybala will start tomorrow.”

Pirlo added.

Dybala and Alvaro Morata are the only available strikers.

Federico Bernardeschi, who could’ve performed as a striker in the pitch, has a positive COVID-19 test.
