Sean Dyche has no intention of selling Nick Pope amid Spurs link

Tottenham are reportedly interested to sign a quality goalkeeper this summer to replace Hugo Lloris and have Burnley’s Nick Pope in mind as their first-choice target.

Burnley

manager

Sean Dyche

may have no intention of selling their best players, including their goalkeeper

Nick Pope

.

Pope has emerged as one of the Premier League's best-performing goalkeepers and has been recognized on the national team stage, winning four England caps.

When asked at

LancsLive

if it would take a "massive offer" to take Pope away from the Lancashire outfit, Dyche responded

: "How do you know every offer would have to be massive?

“If they offered a bag of crisps, a pint of lager, in a pub, at the moment with the way things are going, I might be swayed. I might actually take it.

“If someone can find a way of changing the rules of the country, get me a pint and a bag of crisps then I will have to try and hang on to Popey the best I could.”

The 28-year-old remains a Burnley player, with his current deal expiring in 2023 with an option of an additional year.
