“Rossoneri would struggle to recover if Inter won Milan derby” - Galli

According to Milan’s ex-defender, Filippo Galli, Inter possibly can land a crucial blow on AC Milan by winning in Sunday’s derby.

Inter

is ahead by one point in the Serie A standings, having passed

AC Milan

with a triumph over Lazio on Sunday.

Galli revealed that he was worried about the possible consequences of a loss at San Siro for his former team, after their shocking 2-0 defeat at Spezia.

“Losing to Inter could be a difficult blow to recover from in an emotional and psychological sense,”

Galli, who played 13 years playing for AC Milan, announced to Sky Sport Italia.

“It’s going to be a difficult game and it could go either way.

“AC Milan have had an incredible season so far, in order to keep it that way they must stay in the top four without forgetting that they can challenge Juventus and a very strong Inter for the title.”

This is going to be the third Derby della Madonnina of the season, with both teams having one win so far.

AC Milan

won the reverse match in the league in October, as

Inter

secured success in last month’s Coppa Italia quarter-final.

Conte is supposed to set an unchanged XI after last Sunday’s victory against Lazio.
