Kilmarnock in a rush to sign a manager to replace Alex Dyer

, and the club's board are now in a rush to find a new manager for the club.

, the captain, had accepted the full responsibility of the team for the team's match against

Celtic

. The three of them have taken the charge of the next match against ST Mirren if the club appoint no manager for the club by that time.

Fowler said:

"I think the club have said that they are looking to move very quickly.

"We have identified the ones we are going to take forward for interview, that has begun and once we get a chat with these candidates, they get a feel for us, we get a feel for them, we will have a better idea where we are going to go moving forward.

He also mentioned that numerous applicants have been trying to get interviewed.

He talked about the club's match on Saturday and said:

"Myself, Andy and Gary are preparing as if we are going to be in charge (for Saturday).

"The boys trained well this morning, there will be training tomorrow and prepare for the match on Saturday which is our main focus for now."

"It is a massive game for us, as they all will be between now and the end of the season."

Kilmarnock is standing in 10th place in the Scottish Premiership table with 24 points gained having accepted a defeat in the last four games.
