Harwood-Bellis joins Blackburn to develop his playing skills

The 19-year-old will be playing under Tony Mowbray's supervision to get back to Manchester City as a more skilled player.

Being wanted by many clubs,

Taylor Harwood-Bellis

joined

Blackburn Rovers FC

for the rest of the season.

The 19-year-old

Manchester City

defender has played for the Citizens only four times this season.

Harwood-Bellis is said to have joined

Tony Mowbray

's side to improve his performance and develop his playing skills under the manager's direct supervision.

Many of the players have joined this team on loan to gain experience such as

Tosin Adarabioyo

, the Citizen's former defender, and

Harvey Elliott

, a Liverpool player, who has been gone to Ewood Park in October 2020, and

Jarrad Branthwaite

.

Although this loan-deal does not imply any intention to sell the player, as he seems to be the potential star-to-be in City.

In December 2020, he signed a four-year contract extension with Manchester City.

The defender joined the team's academy when he was eight, and made his debut for Manchester City when he was 19 years old in September 2019.

The player will be playing for Blackburn in their Championship clash against QPR.

Pep Guardiola

has also the option to sign

Eric Garcia

, who will be a free agent in the summer.
