‘He has added creativity to the team’ Martindale praises Josh Mullin
Livingstone manger is delighted by the midfielder’s recent performances.
Josh Mullin
displayed a sensational performance at Easter Road as
Livingstone
achieved a 3-0 victory against
Hibernian. The 28-year-old scored the opener in the ninth minute before assisting another goal to Jon Guthrie seven minutes later. Scott Robinson’s 47th-minute goal secured the victory for the lions as they equaled their biggest ever win against Hibernian. In a post-match interview,
David Martindale
has spoken about Josh Mullin's form.
“Josh has been brilliant since coming into the club, even more so since I took over.
“I could say that for all of the starting 11 for all of the games, but Josh has just added some creativity and I honestly think his deliveries with his right foot are almost second to none.
“Maybe James Tavernier at Rangers is better, but beyond that? His crosses are phenomenal.
“Since he first signed for us from Albion Rovers (in 2016) when we were relegated from the Championship, it’s just natural to him. I do a lot of crossing and finishing and that gives him the practice he needs.”
Livingstone are currently in the fourth place in the league table and will play their next match against
Ross Countyon Saturday.
