Sterling first City star with 150 goal involvements in Guardiola time

Raheem Sterling grew into the first Manchester City player to achieve 150 goal involvements during the Pep Guardiola period.

The England striker started the Premier League home game with Newcastle United having 96 goals and 53 assists across all competitions since

Guardiola

took over at City before the 2016-17 season.

Sterling

's short, smart pass to Ilkay Gundogan provided the Germany international a chance that he could score and give City a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute.

Taken from Liverpool in 2015,

Sterling

has proven himself in

Guardiola

's era at the Etihad Stadium.

Sergio Aguero missed most of this season so far and

Sterling

has reached the 150 involvements score quicker than the Argentinian.

Kevin De Bruyne, who sat next on the list, with the Belgian's 43 goals complemented by an unbelievable 84 assists for an overall of 127 involvements during

Guardiola

's era.

Gabriel Jesus, self-isolating at the moment after testing positive for COVID-19, is on 99 after scoring 72 times and laying on 27 goals for teammates.
